When I first began exploring topics for my Senior Honors Project, my inclination was to do a research paper on woman's progress in recent political history. I felt this would be indicative of my future career interest (law) as well as of the skills and knowledge I have acquired in my undergraduate studies. However, after I enrolled in an Honors Humanities Seminar on Biography as Literature and became exposed to the art of biographical writing, I decided to write instead on the early experiences of my maternal grandmother. |
