Final Score |
Senior Kyler Dunkle and the Utah men's golf team capped off the Pac-12 Championship on Wednesday by recording the highest team and individual finishes since joining the Pac-12. Utah placed in a tie for fifth at the Eugene Country Club, while Dunkle came away with a second-place finish at the conference tournament. Dunkle fell just short of claiming the conference title on Wednesday behind the No. 2-ranked player in the nation, California's Collin Morikawa. Dunkle shot 2-over par (73) in the final round to sit at 8-under par (276) for the event, but it wasn't enough to overcome Morikawa who finished the event at 12-under par, which included three straight birdies to end his final round 1-under (70). The second-place finish is the best finish by a Ute since joining the Pac-12. |
