World and Themes Based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. This is an educational game that is played online and in real life and focuses on developing skills that can be used to help librarians advocate for their profession and promote the library at their institution or community. Skills are developed by completing the learning objectives described in each challenge. Challenges are structured around the Experiential Education Theory (See one, Do one, Teach one). Players work to earn points, which appear on the Game's Leaderboard. Players also earn Continuing Education Credits, between 4 and 5 credit hours per challenge, from the Medial Library Association. |
