Final Score Juniors Lauren Endersen and Kellie Anderson ran in the 3,000-meter event to execute two top-four finishes. Endersen set a new lifetime best with a time of 10:03.26 to win outright. Anderson clocked in at fourth-place with a finish time of 10:27.54. The next finisher was Whitney Gebert of BYU with a time of 10:36.62. Senior Janett Ern competed in the women's one-mile run on Saturday. She turned up the heat to win outright in the slower heat, but earned third-place overall in the finals with a time of 5:08.88. This time is a new lifetime personal best. In the high jump, true freshmen Langley Iverson and Brianna LeRoy stepped it up to outdo their competition. Iverson's efforts translated into a 5'5.75" jump to win outright. In second-place, LeRoy was just 2" below her with a 5'3.75" jump to earn second-place. In the 4x400-meter relay race, the Utes' A team placed second behind UCLA's team that finished in 3:43.02. Chelsea Shapard ran the first leg and handed off to Ashley Patterson. The last 200-meters were run by Chelsey Kaplar and Whitney Wellington. Utah's relay team finished in 3:50.23. Patterson also competed in the triple jump and 400-meter run. The Ute earned a third-place finish in the triple jump (38'4.25") and an eighth-place overall finish in the 400-meter with a time of 58.31. Kaplar, whom also competed in the 400-meter run, finished right behind Patterson with a finish time of 58.55 for ninth-place. In the shot put, true senior Chasity Toilolo had another outstanding weekend. The Ute placed third overall with a toss of 42'4". This distance in an improvement from her last performance in the Utah State meet where she tossed 42'2.25". Freshman Klaudia Rokossa debuted in her first collegiate track meet on Saturday in the pole vault, alongside teammate Laryssa Simpson, a junior. Rokossa finished third overall after launching herself 12'4". Simpson finished in eighth-place with an 11'6.25" vault.
