Description Bear River Hotel and the second Bear River Bridge. The barn at the right was used for state coaches and horses. Collinston was originally called Hampton or Hampton Ford for Ben Hampton who run a toll ferry across the Bear River. Hampton was later named Collinston in honor of Collins Fulmer, a favorite conductor on the Utah Northern Railroad.
