Description |
Petrified mummy found in San Juan County, Utah. Note his hat, sandals, walking stick, necklace and pipe. The tobbacco pouch (in the foreground) is the skin of a now extinct animal. Upon this has it been established that the mummy is over 4000 years old. All personal articles are buried with him. Subjects are always buried in sitting posture. Photo by O.C.Hansen.
