Denver & Rio Grande Western Locomotive 5413 an SD-40T-2 type unit. It was built by the Electro Motive Division of General Motors Corp. at the Roper Yards in South Salt Lake. Having 3,000 horsepower these units modified with P.T.C. (Positive Traction Control) for greater pulling power. Taken in 1988. Donor & Photog.--Mike B. Davis. |
