Homes--Dee and Clara Jenkins |
Description |
Jeremiah Hatch Murray built this home around 1888. They dug a big hole in the yard and dried the dobies to build the house. They then placed pink brick from a local brick maker and put on the outside. It was once a two-story home, but the top floor was removed when the family got smaller. William Ashby Murray lived after he married and had a family and later Dee and Clara Murray Jenkins raised their family here. |
