Description Jones Hole, the proposed National Fish Hatchery is located Northeast of Vernal adjacent to Dinosaur National Monument and about four miles above the Green River on a small spring fed tributary. The area is nearly inaccessible by road at present, but a new road across Diamond Mountain is under study. This will be the source of fish for stocking Flaming Gorge Reservoir and other lakes. This photo was taken by Rex Gary Schmidt.
