Most acquired disorders of ocular movements reflect brainstem or cerebellar dysfunction. A complete review of this subject is beyond the scope of this chapter which, instead, will encompass selected topics of clinical import and varying controversy. These include: Parinaud's syndrome, internuclear ophthalmoplegia, and the eye signs produced by lesions of the oculomotor nuclei, pontine paramedian reticular formation, and cerebellum. |
