Additional Information The word "wafuku" is comparative and almost synonymous with the word "kimono" but a little more broad in meaning, indicating Japanese clothing in contrast to "yohfuku", European/American clothing. Amanohashidate is a pine-covered sand spit whose name means "bridge to heaven." Image was scanned from color slide. Caption is from photographer's notes on slide
