Eccles at the Carolina Forum at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill on 13 October 1948. Some dealt with arrangements for his participation, while others were from later, expressing thanks for his speech. Requests for copies had to be denied, as none were available. A two-page summary of the problem addressed in his speech, namely inflation, and how its control is related to foreign policy. We must work for peace so that the federal government can decrease spending.
