Description |
Narrow gauge locomotive 486 at Alamosa, Colorado, ready track for freight service over Cumbres Pass. This class of 10 locomotives were built by Baldwin Locomotives Works in 1925 and were the last new steam locomotives bought for the Rio Grande for the narrow gauge lines. Once extensive in Utah and Colorado. |
