Avard Rigby was principal at Uintah High School and is pictured in the yearbook in 1948. He was principal at Roosevelt High School before coming to Vernal is the District Office and then to Uintah High School Principal. He was nominated to president of Utah Secondary School Principals Association. He received a research followship to the University of Utah and left Vernal in 1952. Both he and his wife Virginia were involved with numerous clubs and civic involvement in the community. |
