Description |
Vernal was host to the Region Five Music Festival. An estimated 4,000 people visited Vernal to support and see 1,500 young musicians perform. The highlight of the event was the mile long parade of uniformed bands who converged at the main downtown intersection to come together to play a number in a combined effort. Businesses that can be seen in the background are, Uintah State Bank, Farmers Market, Vernal Drug, Vogue Theater, Vernal Cafe, Highpoint Appliace, O.P. Skaggs, and the Pontiac Dealership, The Uintah County Courthouse can be seen looming over the top of the businesses. The Cobble Rock Conoco Station and Vernal Theater are pictured at right. |
