From the Idaho State Historical website: In 1923, Franklin Idaho Pioneer Association bought the old Franklin Co-Operative Merchantile Instution Building to use as a museum. Elliot Butterworth, a storekeeper and longtime Franklin resident collected momentos of the town's past. The Merchantile buiding is not currently open to the public. |
