Description Cat scratch disease caused by Bartonella henselea has traditionally been associated with unilateral neuroretinitis consisting of optic disc swelling and a macular star. Larger published case series show features such as bilaterality, retinal and choroid lesions, and enhancement of the optic nerve head on MRI are now being recognized as more common. We present a case with these features accompanied by high resolution OCT images and fundus photos documenting progression and resolution.
