Description |
Both the clinical and histopathologic features of myelinoclastic diffuse sclerosis suggest that it is closely related to MS and is probably a variant of it, as Schilder originally proposed. The occurrence of myelinoclastic diffuse sclerosis in a patient who also had neuromyelitis optica (Devics disease; see above) lends credence to this concept. |
