Description |
Sterling Cook is one of the largest farmer and cattle feeder in Uintah County. He is considered one of the most progressive farmers in the area. He makes most of his own machinery for his 178 acre farm in the Ashley area of our county. His crops include 70 acres of corn silage, 40 acres of alfalfa, 10 acres each in oats and barley and 58 acres are native pasture. He shares his knowledge with other farmers and the Chamber members with a tour of his farm. The Agricultural tour is taken by men of the area so they can see the progress of farming that is coming to the Valley. |
