Three Notable Shivwits Indian Men

A postcard photograph of Old Snow, Shem, and Frank Mustash. Three notable Shivwits Paiute Indians who lived in the Village of Shem of the Shivwits Agency in Santa Clara, Utah. The three men are standing on a dirt road next to a rough surfaced stone building. Old Snow (left) is wearing semi-dark pants, a light colored shirt, a full beard, and is holding a cap in his hands which are held out in front of him resting atop of a walking stick. Shem (center) is wearing a light colored shirt, dark pants, a goatee, and is holding a large brimmed dark hat in his left hand. Frank Mustash is wearing a light colored shirt beneath a semi-dark overcoat, light colored trousers, knee high boots, and holds a wide brimmed light colored hat in his right hand. The three men are standing in front of a mass thicket of foliage. The tree branches dominate the entire background (i.e. the upper left hand side of the photograph).
