Ab Jenkins (left) is standing for a photograph with Captain George Eyston. Eyston was another racer who held a variety of land speed records. Ab Jenkins set numerous automobile speed records on Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats between 1932 and 1956, drove the Mormon Meteor III, and served as mayor of Salt Lake City from 1940-1943. |
