Donor's mother Tanya Simons Bagley has in her possession a Pablum cereal container stuffed full of recipes that belonged to donor's great-grandmother Abigail Clove Fallis, found when cleaning out Fallis' house in Hatch, Utah in 1989 or 1990. The recipes are some newspaper clippings and some handwritten recipes. This recipe was probably aspirational, not something she usually baked. Tanya thinks Abigail would keep most recipes in her head that she'd actually use to bake with. The recipe is from Nancy Haven, Western Beet Sugar Producers, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah |
