Oral history interview by Kathryn Burnside with Ray Burdett, M.D. Topics include: Growing up and attending school in Ogden, Attending the University of Utah and in Chicago, an internship at California Lutheran Hospital in Los Angeles, serving two years in the U.S. Medical Corps, studying pediatrics at Los Angeles Children's Hospital, returning to Ogden to set up a pediatric practice, involvement in organizing the Ogden Clinic, experience with St. Benedict's Hospital, training nurses, The Polio epidemic of '52-'53, working with the Nuns, Spaghetti dinners, Christmas parties, Changes in medical practice, and privileges at McKay Dee Hospital and St. Benedict's. |
