Show A southwest angle shot of Foster Hall. Poised in the entrance is a small group of men. The land around the hall is semi-landscaped. A dirt path can be seen past the foreground of grass. Visible to the very left of the hall is what appears to be a fence and small trees. |
| Further Information |
The photograph(s) is in poor condition. Glue indentations and saturated glue stains can be seen on the front of the photo. There are also some minor cuts on the top right edge and the bottom left edge. The only handwritten marks are on the front photo are found at the bottom edge in black ink: "Foster hall in 1928." On the back the following is written at the top in black ink: "Mr. Eddy, you are not using this but you may want to do so. U FM." Below this is written: "Foster Hall (Boy's Dormitory) Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah," also in black ink. Written in pencil is the word, "Crop." A red stamp is located near the bottom right hand corner which says the following, "Shiplers Commercial Photographers Salt Lake City." Written in pencil along the bottom edge is, "Photograph #69 Boys in front of Foster in a S.W. angle shot." Erected in 1926 during President Herbert W. Reherd's administration, Foster Hall was built initially as a men's dormitory. Foster Hall was named |
