Description |
Juxtacapillary capillary hemangiomas (JCHs) are often misdiagnosed as intrinsic optic nerve disease or unilateral papilledema. They can occur as a manifestation of von Hippel-Lindau disease. The natural history of these lesions is slow enlargement leading to exudative macular detachment with loss of vision. |
