Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a non-invasive approach to visualize ocular microcirculation of the capillary plexuses. OCTA is currently in its infancy and can potentially make a significant impact in ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology in the future, just as its predecessor, optical coherence tomography (OCT) has changed dramatically how we practice.
