Scans of letters written in May and June of 1936 between Federal Reserve Chairman Marriner S. Eccles and various people regarding his speech at the Conference on Debt, Taxation and Inflation in New York on May 8, 1936. Some writers sought copies of the speech, while others were thanking Eccles for sending a copy. There is also a preprint copy of an article by Ohio Senator Robert J. Bulkley titled "These changing times: views on ‘the State of the Union,'" to be published in the May 9, 1936 issue of the Magazine of Wall Street, and the exchange of letters between Senator Bulkley and Governor Eccles about it.
