History A 62-year old female with a 10-week history of painless blurred vision OS. Previous history significant for hypercholesterolemia, bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and a basal cell carcinoma excised from the right side of nose 12 years earlier.
Pathology Occipital mass consisting of cuboidal cells with hyperchromatic nuclei and moderate amounts of granular eosinophilic cytoplasm.
Disease/Diagnosis Carcinoid tumor metatstatic to orbit and brain
Clinical VA: 20/15 OD, Counting fingers at 1' OS. Color vision normal OD, Gross colors only OS.
Presenting Symptom Blurred vision OS
Neuroimaging CT; MRI
