Description The importance of vitamin-D in preventing multiple sclerosis(MS) and reducing disease severity in MS is becoming increasingly accepted. The study examines 25-hydroxyvitamin-D (25HVITD) levels in acute optic neuritis(ON) patients compared to levels in MS patients. 25HVITD levels as a predictor for paraclinical findings (MRI and CSF findings) and risk of RRMS in ON is estimated.
