Show This photograph is on a postcard. It is of a farm in Southeastern Idaho. On the left side of the photograph is a tall barn with a multi-pitched roof. In front of the barn is a low building with a low pitched roof. Alongside the barn is a row of tall bushes. On the right side of the photograph there is a white house, with a small chimney on the top. In front of the house is a tall tree, and there is a dirt road in front of the house. Along the road are fence posts and barbed wire. In the bottom right corner of the photograph is a small body of water surrounded by various plants. This may be an irrigation ditch with water. |
| Further Information |
The photograph is in good condition, except for worn corners. The back of the photographs is stamped: "POST CARD, CORRESPONDENCE HERE, NAME AND ADDRESS HERE, PLACE STAMP HERE." There is also a vertical line down the middle of the postcard. The following information appears on the back handwritten in pencil: "The Mormon Area South Eastern Idaho. A characteristic farm scene in Mormon Idaho where the land yields in great abundance, and want and famine are never known." |
