Drawing by Carlos Andreson, 1934. Main Street, 1868. Looking north from 1st South. The frist store building was erected by Lingston & Kinkead (large building far right). Business and commercial enterprises expended in rapid succession and Salt Lake City becme known as the Crossroads of the West. |
