The Kiwanis Club paraded their rodeo queen candidate, Shirley Wilson, and carried out their purple and yellow colors with John T. Banister's cream colored convertible with purple streamers. The other girls and men are unidentified. The businesses in the background are an unidentified garage, the Commercial Hotel, the Commercial Hotel Coffee Shop, Westinghouse Appliances (Searle Electric Appliance Company), and Vernal Office Free Museum. Note the Utah Centennial Parade banners flying over the street. This photograph is one of the frames in the roll of negatives that is cataloged under the accession number RHC.2023.02.01. |
