Description |
"Signage. The main entrance to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the old Hotel Utah, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Taken Saturday, 9-19-2020 by Kurt A. Fisher. This image poignantly shows the disruption of the Covid-19 on one of the usually busy tourist museums and iconic locations known to most Utahans in downtown Salt Lake City six months into the pandemic. However, the closure sign may not be related to Covid-19. The LDS Church is also in the middle of major renovation of Temple Square. The closure might be construction related." |
