Show The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo ended the Mexican-American War in 1948. It ceded Upper California and New Mexico, which then included parts of Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Colorado, as well as all of Texas, to the United States establishing the Rio Grande as a southern border to the U.S. |
