This work consists of a graphic novel exploring the story and characters designed by artist Aurora Stark. A page from the book has been displayed seperatley. It depicts the main characters laying on their backs, talking- the humanoid and robotic characters establish it as a work of science fiction. It was displayed as part of the 2024 Illustration Capstone exhibition. "Quantum Foam Latte" is a personal IP project in which we follow Tiffany, a college student working as a barista when she trips her way into a covert time-travel operation with benevolent and not-so-benevloent aliens. Over the course of the story, Tiff learns to love all the wonders of space, including things she took for granted on Eath, and the power that she and her friends have when they band together. This project involved character, prop, and world design. It was designed with a tween audience and a 3D look in mind. As a child who grew up devouring shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who and, FIrefly, Aurora designed this project as if making a show for their younger self." From the artist. |
