Starting in the top left: a red robed character; a group of figures wearing dark dress, with two figures wearing contrasting clothes, looking at each other through the crowd; a girl in a yellow dress falling from a dark background, stars flying behind her; a character with flowing hair and sleeves, in front of a decorative horizontal row; a woman dressed in a brightly colored, patterned jumpsuit, larger than her environment, walking across a city skyline; a woman getting her hair done, surrounded by other well-groomed pets. There is text within these illustrations that is illegible in the photo. The title is French for "A Dictionary of Illustrations". |
