Mouse vocalizations at the lab of Dr. Robert Sikes, University of Arkansas
Sounds were recorded in a darkened laboratory in which were numerous northern grasshopper mice in cages; This mouse has a variety of call types, and this recording represents examples of high-pitched pure tone adult calls that typically range from 9 to 14 kHz for this species.
