Description |
This episode of Talent Showcase features performers and personalities of the annual Days of '47 Rodeo. The show opens with rodeo headliner Judy Lynn singing, then Eugene Jelesnik playing violin in The Continental Trio. Days of '47 Rodeo President Flip Harmon introduces the 1980 Rodeo Royalty: Queen Carolee Cutler, 1st Attendant Paula Last, and 2nd Attendant Kathryn Garn. Billie Lucas sings "It's a Grand Night for Singing" by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The Continental Trio plays a medley from "The Sound of Music", featuring Jack Stephens singing "Edelweiss" and "Do-Re-Mi". Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints President Spencer W. Kimball gives a special address about the Mormon pioneers. Judy Lynn closes the show with a solo performance. |
