Description |
The Endowment House was located on Temple Square before the Salt Lake Temple was built. It was built of adobe and was dedicated for conducting temple ordinances that would otherwise only be done inside an LDS temple. It was dedicated in 1855 and torn down in 1889.(Granite blocks from the Temple construction surround the Endowment House.) |
