Description |
Catherine "Kitty" Calhoun grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and played a lot of sports and especially enjoyed downhill skiing in North Carolina. After an Outward Bound trip, Kitty became very interested in rock climbing and eventually ice climbing in college. After graduation, she started full-time guiding through American Alpine Institute, Exum Guides - Utah, and Chicks. Kitty talks about memorable expeditions in Peru, Alaska, and India. Kitty currently volunteers with Scarpa's Athlete Mentorship Initiative, Protect Our Winters, and Braver Angels. |
