The Utes had a solid second day led by Amanda Mergaert in the 1500m. Mergaert got off to a really good start, but showed signs of fatigue from back-to-back days of competing in the final 500m of the race. She recorded a solid time of 4:25.99 for ninth place. Senior Brianna LeRoy competed in the long jump for the Utes. She had two good first jumps, but unfortunately fouled on both of them. With one jump remaining, LeRoy stayed conservative and recorded a mark of 17-6.00 for 20th. |
