The Middle East is an area which can extend from Afghanistan in the east to Morocco in the west, and from Turkey in the north to the Arabian peninsula and Sudan in the south. It is in this large area that Moslem men and women of the Middle East lead their daily lives, living together with the shared meanings that the Islamic religion and Arab culture provide. And while some of their customs may differ, fundamental beliefs and practices remain. There are many types of relationships between men and women, such as those that occur in a family setting, etc. Sexual interaction is one such relationship. Both men and women are sexual beings, a fact that affects the interaction between them. What this paper will discuss is the effect that her sexuality has on a Moslem woman in the Middle East. |
