This memo sets forth the method and results, in the form of additional memos, on the constitutional review process. This Memo, along with accompanying documents, were developed at the request of the Chair and leadership of the Constitutional Revision Committee (CRC) and informed by discussions with the Speaker and other Iraqi leaders within and outside the Committee. It is based on the Final Report of the CRC dated 7/7/2008 (7 July 2008), and the Amended Text (AT) of the Constitution as provided by the CRC. |
