Description |
The idea for this project came about as a result of the course work done by the author in the field of educational psychology as a supplement to his major area of French language. Through work and association with the personnel and methods of the Learning Skills Laboratory, a part of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Utah, the idea of adapting English Learning Skills to teach foreign languages emerged. This, then, is a summary of the research done in determining the possibilities of such a methodological approach. Specifically on the University of Utah model, classes were evaluated and interviews conducted with many of the professors and teaching fellows in the French sector. The first six chapters are a defense of the original thesis, while the seventh is the author's projected outline for a class using the experimental methodology as its base. |
