Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T) is characterized by oculocutaneous telangiectasia, progressive cerebellar ataxia, recurrent sinopulmonary infections, hypersensitivity to ionizing radiation, and a high incidence of lymphoreticular neoplasms. The syndrome is widely distributed, both geographically and ethnically, and is equally common in males and females. |
