Description |
We will use the United States, Japan and the European Economic Community as the three world economic centers in this paper. Four main aspects will be examined: 1. How each of the regions view protectionism and why they employ protectionist measures; 2. The way each of the actors approach protectionism and the means they use to enforce it; 3. How these actors are affected, both positively and negatively, by protectionism - the protectionism which they employ, as well as those measures imposed upon them by other countries; 4. How the world monetary system as a whole is influenced by protectionist measures adopted by these three actors and suggested changes to the current world monetary system. |
