The purpose of this project is to generate a suitability analysis to locate areas of opportunity and act as a guide for Utah open lands to know where areas in the Salt Lake valley lack equitable access to parks, trailheads and open spaces. by applying a racial-equity lens through spatial analysis we can begin to reveal and understand the inequities within the focus area (Salt Lake, Wasatch, and Utah counties). |
