Photo shows Henry Kasai examining the wreck of a small plane in the Uinta Mountains of Utah. The pilot, Masashi Goto, had left Los Angeles and hoped to fly around the world. After landing in Salt Lake City and meeting the local Japanese American community, he flew east and crashed in a storm on July 4, 1929. |
