Details: [1 - 7] Typescript with no title, beginning "He was born in Greensburg, Indiana, August 8, 1842, thus a bio of John H Morgan, including his conversion and account of a dream he had. [8] Article from Lexington Herald, "Tombstone tales" by George N. Reynolds, no. 29, Morgan's maid. Details on John Hunt Morgan (Confederate general) and members of his family. [9] The Family of Morgan [10 - 18] Part of a report from ca. late 1877 that mentions John Morgan's mission in the Southern States (pages unnumbered). Note: Image 12 is a duplicate of image 10; [19 - 20] Letter dated 11 Oct. 1877 at Rome, Georgia, from John Morgan to the editors of the Deseret News, describing his missionary activity in northern Georgia and Alabama; [21 - 22] Part of a narrative, describing Morgan's request to Brigham Young that he be able to continue missionary work in the South, and text of Young's response, dated 15 Sept. 1876. The narrative continues, quoting a letter from Morgan to Deseret News outlining his activities.
