Description Stain: May-Grnwald-Giemsa (MGG). The promonocyte (1) has an irregular nucleus and shows the first step towards indentation (arrow). The cell has a characteristic greyish-blue cytoplasm. (2) Represents three young neutrophils. (3) A plasmacytoid lymphocyte.
